March 29, 2016: Nathan Lane and John Slattery will lead the starry cast of an upcoming Broadway revival of “The Front Page,”... John Goodman (last on Broadway in the Roundabout Theater Company’s 2009 revival of “Waiting for Godot”), Jefferson Mays (“A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”), Rosemary Harris and Sherie Rene Scott also will star in the 1928 newspaper comedy, to be directed by Jack O’Brien (“Hairspray,” “The Coast of Utopia,” the upcoming “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”). —Variety >>
"Notorious baddie Christopher McDonald has been tapped to take on the role of Murphy in the starry revival of the classic play The Front Page. According to Deadline he will join the previously reported two-time Tony winner Nathan Lane, John Slattery and John Goodman in the production, which is expected to run September 20 through February 5, 2017, officially opening on October 20. No theater has been announced."
