THE OUTGOING TIDE by Bruce Graham

Female/ 70 (could be slightly younger)/ Dramatic

Peg's husband Gunner is showing the first signs of Alzheimer's disease.  He won't go to the nursing home she's picked out for him; she won't help him kill himself, which is his preference.  If she has to, she will take care of him right here at home, same as always...as she tries to explain in this short but poignant speech to her son, Jack.   (NOTE: Monologue requires some editing.)
