The Farndale Avenue Plays by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jnr

Call me a rebel, but I'm recommending a series of plays this week. Ha! If you are a troll, you may call them inconsequential fluff; but if you are a drama teacher or a Very Sad Person, they may very well be that spot of joy that makes you glad to wake up in the morning.

The ladies of the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Dramatic Society toil tirelessly to whip up buoyant, amateur theatrical productions to side-splitting results, as one might expect. The Mikado, Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, ye auld murder mystery
