In A World Created By A Drunken God
by Drew Hayden Taylor

This two-character play opens with Jason, a Native Canadian on his mother's side, as he is packing to go back home to his reserve. When his half-brother Harry arrives from Rhode Island to meet him for the first time, it is only because he is seeking a life-saving kidney transplant for the father they both share. As Jason has lived his 31 years without any contact from his father, this meeting is far from being the peaceful reconciliation Harry was naively hoping for.

Their combative, sometimes humorous exchanges deal with the uncomfortable truths that lie at the heart of family, love and what it means to belong to a nation. As the brothers discover, sometimes the poison must be exposed before the healing takes place. And even after this, some wounds can never heal.

Scenes/Monologues:Both, for two men in their 30s.
