American Theatre and Drama Society's Brilliance of the American Theatre Reading

The American Theatre and Drama Society is pleased to announce the sixth annual "The Brilliance of the American Theatre" reading series at the Drama Book Shop in Times Square, New York.  This year, ATDS will present authors Henry Bial, David Carlyon, and Dorothy Chansky reading from their new works at the Drama Book Shop on Thursday, March 24 at 6 p.m.  Mark Cosdon, immediate past-president of ATDS, will host the event.  

Authors and texts featured in the evening include Henry Bial's Playing God:  The Bible on the Broadway Stage, David Carlyon's The Education of a Circus Clown: Mentors, Audiences, Mistakes and Dorothy Chansky's Kitchen Sink Realisms: Domestic Labor, Dining, and Drama in American Theatre. 
 
The Drama Book Shop is located at 250 West 40th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues. Copies of the books will be available for sale.
