Harlem9, Inc. presents 48Hours in...Harlem Anthologies I and II

The Drama Book Shop is proud to present an event in partnership with Harlem9 for the newest volume of the 48Hours in...Harlem Anthology! There will be a reading and discussion followed by a signing and reception. 

 

Presented at The HSA Theater in August 2013 and The National Black Theatre in Harlem, New York City, in August 2014, these plays were inspired by some of our great American storytellers including:

Aimé Césaire, Lorraine Hansberry, Leslie Lee, Lynn Nottage,

Joseph A. Walker and August Wilson

Founded in 2010, Harlem9 is a collaborative producing organization, comprised of a group Black theatre professionals from various backgrounds.  Our mission is to produce together, exploring the past, present and future of black culture, celebrating its rich and diverse history of storytelling.
