MASTERING COLLEGE MUSICAL THEATRE AUDITIONS: Masterclass and Signing

The Drama Book Shop is thrilled to offer an event featuring MASTERING COLLEGE MUSICAL THEATRE AUDITIONS by David Sisco and Laura Josepher. This event will include a masterclass as well as a signing.

Giving a successful college audition is incredibly challenging and takes months of preparation. Mastering College Musical Theatre Auditions will walk you through every step of this process, from figuring out where to audition and choosing audition material to deciding where to attend. Each chapter focuses on a question central to the audition process with special sections for the student, teacher, and parent. This book, which has been vetted by professionals on both sides of the table, offers honest, practical advice that will make auditioning for college a positive experience for all involved.

Any guests interested in participating should sign up in advance of the event by emailing laura@contemporarymusicaltheatre.com. We would like to offer the first 4 people** who sign up a chance to participate in the masterclass, with an additional person signed up as an alternate. They should prepare one 16-bar song and 1 one-minute monologue.

**Please note somewhere that participants in the masterclass must be high school Juniors or Seniors.
